Black Mountain Kinders Rocket
Rocket, born February 25, 2914, is one of our two bucklings from Zachary's Champion Goats in Missouri. We are enjoying watching him grow and are pleased to see how he is widening as he matures. His striking coloring is a throwback to his maternal grandfather, Tickleweed Farm Snickerdoodle. His sire, ZCG Monster, is a first generation buck bred in order to start a new line of Kinders—an important endeavor in a breed that still has limited numbers. Breeder Zachary Weaver choose for the Nubian side of the cross the daughter of a multiple times state champion Nubian doe, Cozy Creek Shammy Wow. Monster's Pygmy sire came from the reputable Pygmy breeders Ashlee and Ethan Kay at Rollie Pollie Pygmies. Rocket's mother, Moon, and grandmother Calla Lily often have multiples and have a track record of kidding easily and without complications.
Zachary's Champion Goats Bedazzle
ZCG Bedazzle (Dazz), born March 1, 2014, is a three quarters brother to Rocket, sharing the same sire and maternal grandsire. He's a black agouti buckling with white hairs around his face and eyes that almost make him sparkle. He's very like his handsome sire, ZCG Monster, and Alicia Weaver (Zach's mom) says they've never been more pleased with a ZCG buckling. The two boys are inseparable, and both are so nearly alike in conformation and so promising that it made no sense to wether one or the other. Instead, we have two handsome bucklings, and we are watching them grow. Bedazzle was a single kid, so he began life as a chunk and still is one. His dam, Diamond, is a stocky, solid doe with good length. She's also a very good mother.
